The leaves of Nymphaea Zenkeri Red are first green, partially covered with red speckles. Depending on the nutrient and lighting You can also extensively adopt a red-brown color.

By regularly removing the floating leaves, the growth can be kept compact.

This is very pretty plant.
If kept in high light and high nitrate it wll produce big red leaves.
If light high enough it will not reach surface.

I was suprised when all i got was a small black lump with one little read leaf ( I was expecting a plant similar to the one on the picture) But it adapted really well and i'm sure it will look as the picture one day, and i like the red color.

when arrived, it loose the leaves, but after 15 days it germinate, an other time. beautifull leaves, but require a big acquarium.

Afraid when I see it so small, basicly an small lump with 2 little ( I mean little) leaves. After 3 days I can see 4 leaves. After 2 weaks it looks like the one in the picture. Beautifull leaves btw.
